Dear …………………,

Sample Answer:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to request a reschedule of my upcoming interview, which was arranged for the 20th of next month. I had previously agreed to be present on that day, but I am unable to attend due to some circumstances beyond my control.

My current employer recently notified me that I am required to arrange a conference meeting on behalf of the company, and unfortunately, it conflicts with the date we had already established for the interview. My presence at the event is mandatory since I am in charge of all preparations and will make sure everything is done on time and correctly.

In regards to the job, I am quite interested in this position because I believe it is a great opportunity to demonstrate my knowledge, skills, and expertise in the role. So, I would appreciate it if you could give me an alternate date for the interview that matches your schedule.

Finally, I apologise for this inconvenience and look forward to hearing back from you.

Yours sincerely,
Fifty Geeks
