In my country, people write online reviews about a wide variety of things. Some common categories include restaurants and cafes, hotels and accommodations, tourist attractions and destinations, retail stores and shopping experiences, etc.

Additionally, people also write reviews about customer service experiences with various companies or brands. This can include their satisfaction with the support they received or any issues they encountered during their interaction.

2. Why do some people write online reviews?

 Writing online reviews has become a common practice in today’s digital age. People engage in this activity for various reasons, all of which contribute to the overall value and usefulness of online reviews.

One primary reason why individuals write online reviews is to provide feedback on their experiences with a particular product or service. By sharing their opinions and insights, they aim to inform other consumers about the quality and performance of the item or service in question.  Yes, I do think that online reviews are good and positive for both customers and companies for many reasons.

On the other hand, online reviews are beneficial for companies as well. Positive reviews act as social proof, building trust and credibility for potential customers.
