Sample Answer:

The given diagram provides information on immigration, emigration, and net migration in Canada from 2005 to 2015.

Overall, in Canada, the rates of both emigration and immigration followed an upward trend throughout the given time period, although the immigration statistics were substantially greater than the emigration numbers. In addition, net migration reached its peak in 2011 following a series of ups and downs.

Over the whole decade, the number of migrants to Canada has increased. In 2005, around 450,000 individuals came to Canada, and the number of immigrant people fluctuated over the given time period and rose to around 600,000 people by 2015. Moreover, the number of emigrants from Canada followed a similar trend, reaching 400,000 by 2015. It is worth mentioning that between 2005 and 2015, the number of people who immigrated to Canada was around 1.5 times higher than those who emigrated.

On the other hand, net migration in 2005 was about 170,000 people, and it stayed at around the same level until 2010. The number of net migrants peaked in 2011 at nearly 200,000 people, and afterward, the figure for total migration decreased and fell back to around 170,000 in 2015.
