Sample Answer:

The given table provides data on consumer expenditure on three different categories of products in five different nations in 2005.

Overall, consumers spent the most on food, beverages, and tobacco in all five nations, whereas the percentage of customer expenditures on leisure and education was the smallest.

Of the five nations, Turkey had the highest proportion of consumers’ spending on food, drinks, and tobacco, at about one-third in 2005, with Ireland having the second highest national consumer expenditures at 28 percent, just 4 percent less than Turkey’s consumers. Similarly, the amount of customer expenditure on clothes and footwear was the greatest in Italy, contributing to 9%, while spending on leisure and education was greater in Turkey, at 4%, which was comparatively more than any other country.

In contrast, Sweden had the lowest share of national customer expenditure on both food, drinks, and tobacco, as well as clothes and footwear, with 15 percent and 5 percent, respectively. On the other hand, consumers’ spending on leisure and education was lowest in Spain at only 1%.
